Earthshine and the Pre-Dawn Planets

November 8th, 2015

Earthshine illuminates the darkened surface of the Moon this morning and provides a nice compliment to the pre-dawn planets. Jupiter is rising higher above the horizon in Leo while Mars glimmers with a coppery light. Lastly, Venus, brightest of all, is a brilliant beacon in the constellation of Virgo.
