Today’s Astronomical Events – August 7th, 2015

The Moon reaches its last quarter today and is easily seen in the pre-dawn sky. It’s currently moving through the constellation of Aries, the Ram, and will be traversing Taurus, the Bull, tomorrow. If you’re not able to get up early, look out for the Moon when you rise in the morning as it will still be visible in the daylight sky before it sets around midday.
